Article 137 Dutch Criminal Code

The provisions of Articles 135 and 136 do not apply to a person who, by giving notice, would expose to the risk of criminal prosecution himself, one of his blood relatives or relatives by marriage in the direct line or in the second or third degree of the collateral line, his spouse or former spouse, or another person in whose prosecution he could, by virtue of his office or profession, claim exemption from giving evidence.
