Article 7:757a Dutch Civil Code, Book 7

In the case of a contract for construction work, the contractor, when giving notice that the work is ready to be handed over as referred to in Article 758(1), submits to the client a file relating to the construction work produced. The file contains information and documents that give full insight into the performance of the contract by the contractor and the work carried out in that respect, and contains in any event:

1. drawings and calculations relating to the construction work produced and the associated installations, and a description of the materials and installations used, as well as the functions of use of the construction work;

2. information and documents necessary for the use and maintenance of the construction work.
