Boek 7 · Division 1. General provisions
Paragraph 1
The employment contract is the contract whereby one party, the employee, undertakes to perform work in the service of the other party, the employer, for wages for a certain period of time.
Paragraph 2
If a contract meets both the description in paragraph 1 and that of another special type of contract regulated by law, the provisions of this Title and the provisions laid down for the other type of contract apply concurrently. In the event of conflict, the provisions of this Title apply.
