Article 7:453 Dutch Civil Code, Book 7

Paragraph 1

In carrying out the work, the care provider must exercise the care of a good care provider and in doing so acts in accordance with the responsibility incumbent on the care provider arising from the professional standard applicable to care providers and the quality standards as referred to in Article 1(1) of the Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act.

Paragraph 2

Article 2a(1) and (2) of the Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act applies mutatis mutandis to the conduct of care providers.
